En rampa configuramos L�ser, Datalink (con menos �xito), comms, etc. Rodamos a la 32 como nos indican. Tras el despegue ascendemos para A22 en Rolex. Vamos muy pendientes de las amenazas A-A, pero est�n lejos de nuestra ruta, por lo que todo lo que vimos en la planificaci�n, o se ha retirado, o ha sido derribado.







Precioso el amanecer sobre el desierto...



No conseguimos cerrar bien la formaci�n, as� que llego antes que DR y Skorp. Suelto una GBU sobre el objetivo por si las moscas porque claramente ha sido destruido por un vuelo previo. DR confirma.



Nos volvemos para la base.







Y aqu� viene el l�o. Se nos cruzan dos MiG-25 Foxbat.... no ten�an otra cosa que hacer. Vamos justos de sopa. Intento derribar a uno pero se me olvida activar el MASTER ARM y pierdo la oportunidad, as� que abandono el combate y pongo pies en polvorosa. DR se baja dos as� sin pesta�ear 

Esto deja a DR ya con el fuel al l�mite as� que aprendemos por las bravas a usar el modo CRUISE del DED 

Pero como somos unos crack llegamos todos. Obviamente DR aterriza primero y detr�s vamos el resto.



Nos dan la misi�n como FAILED porque obviamente nos mandaron destruir algo que ya estaba destruido, pero que co�o.... �joder qu� bien nos lo hemos pasado!

Reconozco que no ha sido el primer intento, pero despu�s de tanto tiempo sin darle al Falcon he tenido que sacarme el �xido a marchas forzadas, y estos iraqu�es no perdonan ni una.

DEBRIEFING
Salimos de la base con el orto m�s apretado que la coleta de la Pedroche. Nos tenemos que reunir con un EF111 que nos dar� cobertura ECM y una pareja de Hornets que tienen que limpiar los radares del asentamiento SA2. Una vez complido el tiempo de espera nos dirigimos todos al objetivo. El camino de ida tenso, muy tenso. Nos cruzamos con unos SU20 pero una CAP de Eagles nos los quita del medio. Llegamos al objetivo sin que nadie se interponga con lo que bombardeamos las lanzaderas entre mi punto y yo, mientras los Hornets cumplen su objetivo. Llega el momento de irse, pero saltan spikes de 21 y 29.... intento poner pies en polvorosa pero entramos en dogfight con los 21. A mi punto lo derriba un 23 que no hab�amos visto. Yo derribo un 21 y da�o a otro, pero no es suficiente y acabo saltando... MIA. Espero que vengan a buscarme r�pido.

Seg�n salimos, y mientras hacemos tiempo para que llegue el resto del Package, aprovechamos para alinear los Mvs con el TGP. En el TGP hemos memorizado las coordenadas donde Inteligencia a fotografiado la unidades del batall�on que debemos atacar. Una vez reunidos viramos al norte, pero los avisos del AWACS de la presencia de MiGs iraqu�es, hace que esperemos hasta que se despeje. Tras unos minutos y mucho mensaje de radio nos dan via libre. Llegado a la zona intento localizar los blancos, pero "aparentemente" no est�n. En cualquier caso lanzo a las posiciones memorizadas, no sin antes esquivar un par de SA15. Una vez lanzados todos los Mavs volvemos rapidamente a territorio amigo, ya que se aproximan nuevos MiGs21. Aterrizaje sin m�s incidencias.

Nuestra misi�n ser� dar cobertura a�rea a una pareja de Apaches que tienen como objetivo la 1� Brigara de Infanter�a que se dirige a reforzar las posiciones iraqu�es en Umm Qasr.







DEBRIEFING

Despegamos de la base y fuimos seguiendo la ruta de vuelo hasta medio camino. En ese momento nos dirigimos al cisterna para repostar. Ya con los dep�sitos llenos fuimos para el punto 5 y hacemos Check-In con el AWACS. No tarda en aparecer una pareja de MiG29s. Despu�s de unos minutos hemos conseguido abatirlos.
Pero ese solo iba a ser el principio de nuestros problemas. AWACS nos avisa de la aproximaci�n de bandidos y, para cuando encaro el vector de interceptaci�n, lo que hay es un enjambre de MiG21, MIG25 y F1 iraqu�es... soltamos lo que podemos y nos replegamos. Pedimos ayuda y mandan una CAP aliada, pero estamos ya
sim misiles y decidimos retirarno. No hemos cumplido el TOT, pero era eso o lancha en el tobillo.
