DEBRIEFING

Vamos a la zona de TARCAP respetando los tiempo y avisando al AWACS de nuestra llegada. Tras unos minutos de tranquilidad se desata el infierno... nos encontramos con MiG29 y MiG21. Parece que salimos airosos y regresamos a nuestra zona, ya que nos hemos ido un poco al norte. La tregua no dura mucho,
un MiG25 se nos cruza y nos arrastra, los dos íbamos a por él cuando por el rabillo del ojo veo un MiG29 que nos está encarando listo para disparar. Bueno, contractura en la zona del bajo vientre, lanzo y pego un palancazo. La jugada no les ha salido por un pelo. Derribamos al 29. Al salir de allí, y ya cumplido el
tiempo de patrulla nos encontramos de frente con un MiG25 que no se ha enterado que estabamos allí. Me acerco para darle a cañón, pero con la primera ráfaga y su intento de evasión llega el Sidewinder de mi punto y se lo lleva por delante. Ya sí que ponemos rumbo a la base. Al cabo de un rato nos avisa el AWACS
de que tenemos un MiG21 pisándonos los talones. Obviamente no tenemos nada que tirarle así que metemos gases y seguimos adentrándonos en territorio amigo. No supimos más de él. Aterrizaje sin incidencias.

DEBRIEFING
En la última misión ya había nubes bajas, pero pedazo de tormenta se ha levantado, y además está anocheciendo... no sabía que anochecía tan pronto aquí. El caso es que como en la última misiones, al llegar a la zona de patrulla se desata el caos. Poco antes de llegar nos encontramos con unos Su20 escoltados por MiG21.
 Mi punto se vuelve loco y ataca como si no hubiera un mañana. ¿Resultado? Tras la primera escaramuza lo tengo que mandar a casa porque está sin armamento ya y más seco que la mojama. Yo voy a la zona de patrulla y hago lo que puedo: MiG21, Su25...¿a esta gente no se le acaban los aviones? Me retiro unas 30nm para que no me pillen en una pinza mientras pido ayuda al AWACS.
En tanto que llegan unos F14 y F15 se cumple mi tiempo de patrulla y pongo pies en polvorosa. Aterrizaje sin incidentes.

Segú salimos alineamos los Mavs. Tiramos para el objetivo sin oposición aérea, y cuando llegamos encuentro con los objetivos con el LANTRIN y lanzo los Mavs, pero algo no hago bien porque no los estoy destruyendo. En esto que despegan de una base cercana 2 MiG21 y nos enzarzamos para desgracia suya.

Con el cielo despejado de nuevo lo que hago es pasarle los blancos a mi punto, que como él si tiene ojo de halcón, es capaz de destriurlos.

Vuelta a la base. De camino estaban enganxhados unos Hornet con unos MiG21 pero íbamos ya mal de sopa y peor de misiles A-A así que tiramos para delante. Aterrizaje no sin incidencias, ya que en un giro bajé hasta los 700 pies sin darme ni cuenta.... faltó un pelo.

DEBRIEFING

Esta misión no ha sido nada sencilla, de hecho hemos tenido que repetirla varias veces, primero para quitarnos el óxido, y segundo porque la configuración de armamento que te pone BMS es la mejor opción. Al final nos decantamos por CBU-87, más seguras que arrimarnos allí con AGM-65D que nos proponían inicialmente.

Despegamos y nos vamos al punto de reunión. Allí llega una pareja de Hornet, que serán los que vayan por delante nuestra con AGM88 para anular los radares de las lanzaderas. En un momento dado Sentry nos avisa de que hay contactos enemigos en la zona. Intentamos parecer poco importantes y nos desviamos hacia el norte. Aparentemente da resultado porque siguen su ruta. Vamos acercándonos y los Hornets cumplen porque no tenemos ningún SAM activo así que armas libres. En la primera pasada no salen las bombas, nos ponemos nerviosos. El día anterior habíamos estado practicando y todo había ido bien. Bueno, un vistazo rápido al indicador de fuel, vamos por la segunda. Tampoco salen. Joer, joer... que ahora ya sí que empieza a apretar la cosa. Lo intentamos una tercera vez y si no, no vamos. Esta vez intentamos alinearnos bien, bien, bien con la barra vertical. Bombas fuera... joer, si que es fino el modo CCRP. Salimos de allí cagando leches. Hemos debido llamar ya la atención porque Sentry empieza a rajar sin parar, pero ya estamos lejos. A medio camino nos cruzamos con muchos vuelos aliados. La ofensiva está en marcha...





















Al final solo destruimos una lanzadera, pero nos damos por satisfechos viendo la dificultad de la misión. No obstante, pues hay muuucho margen de mejora, así que seguiremos intentándolo.

A que altura regulastes las CBU para su apertura? Porque con 4 CEM tienes un buen paraguas de destrucción, si se abren a unos 2.500 pies del suelo...
